A few more finishes
First, this is a cross stitch I made for Nathan of Spider Man and Villains. I got it back from the framers (Michael's) last week. I love the red mat and Silver/blue frame.
Next is a piece I started before going into the hospital in Aug. 2009. I didn't pick it up again until this summer because there are a lot of intricate details and beading in the pattern, and I wasn't quite up to that for a while. But I love how it turned out.
This is the inside and outside of a Lizzie Kate needle holder/sewing kit that I bought a few years ago. I couldn't resist the cute birdies and beading. It was a bit tricky, because the stitching canvas was pre-sewn onto the fabric, but luckily, it was a small project. Not sure I will attempt to do another project like this.
Another Lizzie Kate kit that I couldn't resist. I love how this one turned out. I'm thinking of adding trim around the edges and sewing it onto my pink Yazzi stitching case.
