I have neglected the blog terribly, but after attempting several different ways to keep track of my projects, I decided that I will try to put my finishes here to keep a sort of record of them. I thought this would be the best way to add pictures and FFO'd projects. We'll see how it goes.....
January 2019
First is the February block of A Year of Celebrations by Hands on Design. I didn’t realize that the circles inside of the heart were chocolates, so I changed the color to pink because I thought they were buttons.
Second is Be a Pineapple, also by Hands on Design. This was a kit from the Summer Event at the Silver Needle in 2018. My mom and I got to meet Cathy Haberman and Linda Ebright from Lizzie Kate at the Event. I was intimidated to start finishing it into a tray, but it worked out, and I’m pretty happy with it๐
February
March and April blocks from HOD's Year of Celebrations. I tried to finish them on clipboards following Cathy Haberman's tutorial so that I could switch out months all year. I mean to stitch just one block every month, but they were so much fun, I ended up stitching all at once.
